The Last 10 Days of Ramadan

Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Power) is described in the Quran as "better than a thousand months" (97:3). Any action done on this night, such as reciting the Quran, remembering Allah, etc., is better than acting for one thousand months which does not contain the night of Qadr.

How are you going to observe your last ten days? How was its duration for you?

We hope we all have received some blessings. Last year this time was so tough that it seemed almost as if we didn't even have a Ramadan, celebrating with our friends and families due to the start of the pandemic. Masajid has opened back up, and we're praying with social distance still in effect. But we should not be keeping our distance from Allah. And if we have, it is now that opportunity to reunite and get closer, inshAllah.

Many of us may have gotten sick, family members gotten ill, lost jobs, and even lost family members and loved ones. This current state of the pandemic or any difficulties of life itself is more the reason to seek closeness with our Lord, in which all things are decreed. And we know every soul shall taste death, and upon on that, we should die not but in a state of Islam. Life itself is all but a test. We have our whole lifespan to know our Lord, our dean, and our Prophet (saw), through his Book and his Sunnah. And that Book, the Qur'an, was revealed through the most profitable months of blessings, Ramadan.

Ramadan is also a month of ridding bad habits and unnecessary things or distractions that take us away from our focus. inshaAllah, we'll all become successful and fulfill our duties as Muslims. Stay close to the masjid during and mores after Ramadan. Continue reading and studying to elevate your iman. May Allah protect us all.
